Laboratory Testing
All developments and standard product lines are subjected to tests that simulate conditions close to, or even beyond, the actual operating limits of the mechanical seal.
In most cases, the tests follow standards specified by customers, and monitoring is carried out and updated daily. Through these tests, we can anticipate any diagnosis that the product may present. This is the continuous improvement of our technological development process.
Test benches are developed to be increasingly specialized, with electronic monitoring and total precision. This is the case for durability and performance benches that control:
- Pressure versus speed (PV)
- Vibration analysis
- Power consumption
- Temperature at the mechanical seal contact faces
- Face wear
- Service life analysis
Other types of non-standard tests are performed in accredited laboratories that guarantee the expected results through technical reports.

Certifications
Quality Applied to the Mechanical Seal
Fluid System do Brasil holds the NBR ISO 9000 quality certification, which ensures the product quality system by meeting all the requirements of the standard.
All processes are controlled, and raw materials are accompanied by quality certificates that guarantee the origin of the materials, meeting standards, drawing specifications, among other requirements.
Process controls are carried out at every stage of manufacturing, making it possible to trace and identify all production batches.
Likewise, ideal handling and storage procedures are also carried out to preserve the product during and after manufacturing.

KSB approves INPACOM mechanical seals
KSB Bombas, one of the largest pump manufacturers in the world headquartered in Brazil, approves Fluid System do Brasil, a supplier of mechanical seals under the INPACOM brand. KSB’s MEGABLOC / MEGANORM pumps will be assembled with INPACOM T01 mechanical seals for 1 3/8”, 1 3/4”, 2 3/8”, and 2 3/4” shafts, and the materials used comply with EN 12756.
